PrimeCare Diagnostics is seeking a motivated Healthcare Administration & Business Operations Intern who is interested in gaining hands-on experience within a growing healthcare company.
This internship is designed for a college student, graduate student, or recent graduate seeking practical experience in healthcare administration, business operations, human resources, recruiting, marketing, public health, or a related field.
Internship Responsibilities
Depending on the intern's academic background and interests, responsibilities may include:
- Assist with day-to-day healthcare and business administrative activities.
- Support provider and healthcare professional recruitment efforts.
- Assist with reviewing resumes, organizing applicant information, and coordinating interviews.
- Support provider onboarding and credentialing activities.
- Conduct research on healthcare programs, government contracting opportunities, and potential business partnerships.
- Assist with identifying healthcare facilities, community organizations, universities, and potential referral partners.
- Help maintain spreadsheets, databases, provider files, and operational records.
- Assist with preparing presentations, reports, correspondence, and business documents.
- Support marketing and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist with social media and digital marketing projects when appropriate.
- Participate in business development projects and organizational meetings.
- Help develop and improve administrative processes as PrimeCare Diagnostics expands.
- Perform additional projects related to healthcare administration and business operations.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who are:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Health Sciences, Nursing Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and other basic business technology.
- Able to communicate professionally with healthcare professionals, organizations, and community partners.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive business or healthcare-related information.
- Interested in healthcare, entrepreneurship, business development, or healthcare operations.
Prior healthcare experience is not required.

Academic Credit
PrimeCare Diagnostics is willing to work with colleges and universities when appropriate to support students seeking academic internship credit, practicum hours, or experiential learning requirements, subject to the requirements of the student's academic program.
Schedule
Flexible schedule based on the student's academic requirements and PrimeCare Diagnostics' operational needs.
Approximately 10–20 hours per week is preferred.
