Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across various surfaces and outdoor areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage residential housekeeping duties with professionalism, including organizing spaces, handling heavy lifting tasks, and executing outdoor work when required.
- Use cleaning detergents appropriately while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical usage.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning preferences, scheduling needs, and any special requests to enhance customer service experience.
- Assist with ground management tasks such as landscaping support, outdoor debris removal, and general outdoor space upkeep to maintain curb appeal.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, janitorial services or ground management roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, surface sanitation, carpet cleaning, and dusting.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation and maintenance along with the use of various cleaning detergents.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties or outdoor areas.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
