A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, creditors, investors, and other stakeholders in sophisticated financing, restructuring, insolvency, and distressed transactions matters.
- 2–5 years of finance, restructuring, bankruptcy, or commercial lending experience
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers, creditors, investors, private equity sponsors, or financial institutions preferred
- Experience with commercial finance transactions, restructurings, workouts, bankruptcy matters, or distressed transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, loan documents, restructuring agreements, and related transactional documentation
- Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and/or distressed M&A transactions is a plus
- Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while working directly with clients
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
