Northern Wind Brewing is a locally owned craft brewery in downtown Wyandotte dedicated to serving exceptional craft beer and great food in a welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for an energetic, dependable team member to join our front-of-house staff as a Barback, Food Runner, and Busser.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to learn the brewery and hospitality business. Successful team members may have the opportunity to train and advance into a bartender position as openings become available.
Position: Part-Time Barback / Food Runner / Busser
Location: Downtown Wyandotte, MI
Schedule: Part-time, primarily Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays (weekend availability required)
Responsibilities
- Support bartenders by stocking supplies throughout each shift
- Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
- Bus, clean, and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming taproom & patio
- Wash and polish glassware behind the bar
- Keep the bar, dining room, and service areas clean and organized
- Assist with closing duties
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service while helping create great guest experience
- Work closely with the bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing and walking during a shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Restaurant or brewery experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person
