A global lifestyle and retail company is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Administrator to support its U.S. financial and administrative operations.
This position works closely with the Finance and HR teams in Japan, as well as external accounting, payroll, banking, and logistics partners to ensure smooth financial operations and administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with international stakeholders.

Schedule and process payments to vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Manage bank and credit card statements and maintain organized financial records.

Prepare monthly and quarterly internal P&L reports in collaboration with external accounting partners.

Support Sales Tax filings by preparing required documentation.

Maintain accurate records of banking and financial transactions.

Process employee salary transfers and distribute payroll information securely.

Maintain employee records, including:

Benefits enrollment
-
Tax documentation
-
Payroll banking information
-
Employment eligibility documents (I-9, work authorization, etc.)

Review employee timesheets, attendance, overtime, and leave records.

Coordinate monthly payroll reporting with external payroll providers and headquarters.

Record and maintain vendor invoices.

Track company expenses and ensure accurate financial documentation.

Verify purchase orders and shipping invoices.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Maintain organized financial and administrative records.
-
Support e-commerce payment reconciliation and Sales Tax reporting.

Assist with retail cash management procedures.

Coordinate inventory counts and reconcile inventory records.

Support freight invoice management and customs documentation.

Prepare shipping cost analysis reports.

Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative support.

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Experience in retail, consumer goods, fashion, or a similar industry.

Familiarity with U.S. banking procedures and payroll processes.

Experience working with Japanese headquarters or international teams.

Experience supporting accounting or finance operations for a small or mid-sized business.
