Behavior InterventionistNuestro Mundo Community School is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behavior Interventionist to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, administrators, and the school social worker to help maintain a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment for all students.Responsibilities include: Responding to behavior calls and assisting with de-escalation and crisis interventionSupporting students in developing appropriate behavioral and social skillsAssisting in the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)Providing in-class support and coaching for students who need additional behavioral guidanceCollaborating with teachers and staff to promote positive behavior strategiesHelping maintain a safe and respectful school climateQualifications: Experience working with children in a school or youth settingStrong behavior management and de-escalation skillsAbility to remain calm and solution-oriented in challenging situationsStrong communication and collaboration skillsBilingual (Spanish/English) preferredAssociates or Bachelors degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
