Support patient care delivery by collaborating with the nursing team to enhance the quality of life for patients and families. Duties include but are not limited to:

Assist with personal care: bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation

Report changes in patient condition promptly to primary nurse
-
Support non-invasive monitoring and comfort measures
-
Respond to call lights and conduct regular rounds
-
Collect and transport specimens per policy; retrieve medications
-
Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
-
Participate in emergency response per BRGMC Code Blue Policy
Clerical duties may include:

Greeting visitors and supporting unit communications
-
Ensuring proper charge capture and timely order notifications
-
Answering phones/intercom courteously and accurately
-
Maintaining supply inventory and chart documentation
-
Recording vital signs, intake/output, and assisting with nursing documentation
Safety and environmental responsibilities:

Uphold BRGMC safety, infection control, and environmental policies

Clean and sanitize patient areas and equipment
-
Assist in transport and proper instrument sterilization preparation
