Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression.
- Manage guest reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and assisting with inquiries.
- Coordinate seating arrangements and wait times to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring smooth transactions and accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly and effectively, fostering excellent guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in customer service roles within hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.
