Caregiver – Dementia Experience Preferred
Oasis In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a 4-hour shift in the morning starting at 7:30 am until 11:30 am Monday - Friday.
This position supports a client with dementia behaviors, so experience with redirection, reassurance, and managing agitation is strongly preferred. The caregiver will help maintain a calm and safe home environment while supporting the client’s dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
Mobility support for a fall-risk client
Toileting and hygiene assistance as needed
Dementia care, redirection, and reassurance
Light housekeeping
Monitoring and reporting changes in condition
Companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
Dementia care experience strongly preferred
Ability to assist with mobility
Must pass background check and drug screening
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
