American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and day shift availability with weekend and holiday rotation.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital environment

Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

0.9 FTE position (36 hours per week)

8-week contract

Every third weekend required

Holiday rotation required

Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census

Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Prior skilled nursing experience required

Education verification required for consideration

Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care

Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care

Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient care plans including patient and family education

Documents care according to established standards

Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance

Applies critical thinking in support of patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
