Compensation- 16.90 plus tips
Hours- Part time Barista
Responsibilities:
- Greets customers by determining their names and sparking conversations to learn their coffee interests and needs.
- Present and explain the coffee drink menu to the customers so it will answer any questions or concerns, which will result in promoting sales and educating our guests on what we have to offer to the community.
- Prepares and serves coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation methods for coffee drinks such as expressos, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.
- Generate revenue by attracting new customers and personalized service for recurring customers which for example remembering their names or past orders; while also defining new and expanded services or products and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
- Maintains inventory by replenishing all items and products on the stock list.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; reporting differences in quality, performing preventive maintenance and abiding by cleaning and safety procedures.
- Possess strong cash handling skills and maintain attention to detail, open and close tills, balance bank bags, and report on daily tips accrued.
- As part of the team at the play cafe you will be assisting families enter and exit the play space and helping families complete signed waivers.
Core qualifications and requirements:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certificate required
- Previous experience is highly preferred
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 25lbs
Pay: $16.90 per hour
