Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail enhancements, while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise will help clients feel confident and pampered, making every visit memorable.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Apply and maintain nail enhancements including extensions and intricate designs using the latest techniques
- Educate clients on nail care routines, maintenance, and product recommendations to promote healthy nails
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art, and new techniques to provide innovative services
- Build strong relationships through excellent customer service, active communication skills, and personalized attention
Skills
- Deep understanding of color theory for custom nail art and design applications
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming experience for every client
- Knowledge of sanitation practices aligned with health regulations in beauty services
- Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician programs with specialization in nail care
- Experience with advanced nail techniques such as gel application, acrylics, and nail extensions
- Familiarity with hair extensions, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus for cross-service opportunities
- Retail sales experience with strong retail math skills to recommend products effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients about services offered and aftercare instructions
