Early Childhood Teacher (Ages 1-3)
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher who loves working with young children and is committed to practicing the Christian faith. This position involves teaching, nurturing, and caring for children ages 1-3 in a structured, faith-based environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time (until 5:30 PM)
- Age Group: 1-3 year olds
- Setting: Faith-based early childhood program
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care and active supervision at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members as a team player
- Communicate professionally with families and leadership
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children required
- Completion of 45-hour childcare training course, FCCPC, or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (training available for the right candidate)
- Willingness to complete First Aid and CPR certification
- Commitment to completing a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education annually
- Responsible, trustworthy, dependable, and positive attitude
