Material Handler
Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process.
Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular checks.
Responsible for filling requisitions work orders, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production or assembly line.
Maintain proper 5s at all times
Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly
Pick up empty totes during process to maintain workspace
Ensure all products are correct and labels match parts
Move palletized loads along predetermined routes.
Increase efficiency of material flow by ensuring availability of materials when and where they are needed
Reduce material handling cost to improve facility utilization, safety of working conditions
Sequencer
Make sure all sequence orders are printed and filled in a timely manner
Scan and confirm all orders to make sure they are sequenced correctly
Stage all orders in the confirmation area to be delivered lineside
Pick all production material that’s identified on a picking sheet
verify all parts staged in the area are in the correct location before picking
Do not skip or restart any orders without a supervisor or manger’s approval
Place material in the correct cell that coincides with the build sequence sheet
Work in a manner that promotes teamwork among fellow employees
Display a positive attitude towards safety
Work safely and follow all the company’s safety policies and procedures
Tugger
