Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and vigilant Part Time Security Officers to join our dynamic security team at Indiana Security LLC. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help prevent loss, ensure safety, and uphold the integrity of our operations. Responsibilities
This role is customer-facing with individuals gaining access to V.I.P. areas at events. We are also seeking people for traffic control at all major events. Duties will be based on preference, skill, and qualifications. Most of our events revolve around IU's event schedule. You would be given notice in advance with the opportunity to accept or reject the job as needed.
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
Job Description
- Pay rates: $16 Hourly
- Schedule: Corresponds with some large events local to Bloomington.
- 12-24 hours a week
- No experience required.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
