Overview
We are looking for sales oriented people to join our team in welcoming and servicing our growing and long time customer base. We are a fine jewelry and gift shop working to meet customer service demands regarding jewelry repairs and jewelry purchase selection. We are high energy, positive minded, goal driven and focused on customer satisfaction. A love of jewelry and basic knowledge is of value. There are additional opportunities to an hourly wage. Timeliness and quality work ethic is important. This is not a hobby position. Career minded individuals welcome!
Duties
- Greet customers and identify their jewelry and service needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with jewelry selection, product inquiries, jewelry repairs and more
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles is highly preferred
- Experience working in a retail store setting with direct customer interaction is desirable
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers are essential
- Proficiency in data entry, 10-key typing is beneficial
- Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster customer trust and satisfaction
