Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience across multiple trades, works well independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and customer service.
This is a full-time position with a steady workload — no chasing jobs or inconsistent hours. Our office handles scheduling, customer communication, and administrative support so you can stay focused on the work.
We are looking for someone professional, reliable, respectful in occupied homes, and motivated to grow with the company long-term.
Responsibilities
Perform general residential and light commercial repairs and maintenance, including:
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Carpentry and trim work
- Minor plumbing repairs and fixture installation
- Painting and touch-up work
- Fence repairs and installations
- Installation of railings (wood, metal, and composite)
- Fixture installation (shelving, mirrors, towel bars, hardware, etc.)
- Wood rot repair around doors, windows, and exterior trim
- Light landscaping and exterior maintenance
- General punch-list and property maintenance tasks
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Tracking materials and completed work accurately
- Operating company vehicles and tools responsibly
- Collaborating with team members on larger projects when needed
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of handyman, property maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential repair and maintenance work
- Experience with drywall, carpentry, and minor plumbing preferred
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be dependable, professional, and punctual
