Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, maintaining a tidy dining area
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests to promote smooth service flow
- Support the kitchen staff by handling food safely and adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to meet their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness standards by assisting with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing service areas
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Knowledge of bussing, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness standards within a restaurant setting
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experience
- Ability to multitask efficiently during busy service times while remaining organized and attentive
- Previous experience in catering, hotel service, or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory
