Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Execute wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly with customers.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and general inspections to uphold high standards of automotive service.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics software.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid technician certification(s) or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly desirable. Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
