Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit R01, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3% percent and will receive 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
CCHCS seeks to fill a permanent/full-time Information Technology Associate, position in the Information Technology Services Division.
Under the general supervision of Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology (IT) Associate carries out a range of routine technical duties in support of the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) financial operations, reporting and strategy. The IT Associate is responsible for providing assistance with complex and diverse administrative functions related to technical financial modeling and forecasting, including maintenance, analysis, reporting, and planning activities. Additional responsibilities include supporting budget preparation exercises and preparing expenditure reports and analyses. The incumbent is expected to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, uphold ethical standards, and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Travel to various institutions and after-hours support for California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems may be necessary to meet operational requirements.
This position is in the Information Technology Services Division, which deploys the information technology infrastructure and clinical information technology systems that enable the Department’s clinical staff to provide a constitutional level of access to care for our patients. Information technology support ensures California Correctional Health Care Services operates seamlessly, delivering consistent, cost-effective, reliable, accessible and secure services that support clinical and administrative programs; customers, including the patients, and business communities.
