Our team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in personal injury matters from inception (e.g., intake) through litigation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a genuine interest in the field of personal injury law. We currently operate a fairly small, family-oriented office, but are looking to expand.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal.
Responsibilities:
- Meet clients and coordinate the intake process;
- Prepare No-Fault Applications and MV-104s;
- Prepare and submit representation letters;
- Regularly communicate with clients through the timespan of their case;
- Coordinate and confirm EUOs, 50h hearings, IMEs, EBTs, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances with clients;
- Ability to request and collect medical records;
- Reviewing and responding to e-mails from insurance adjusters, courts, and attorneys;
- Handle all calls relating to the client's case (but for those addressed by the attorney).
Software:
- Familiarity with SmartAdvocate is a plus, but not required.
Languages:
- Ability to speak fluently in Spanish is a BIG plus.
