Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment, possessing a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct routine maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Diagnose malfunctions using electronic testing equipment
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles
- Complete service reports accurately and timely
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed
- Strong automotive diagnostics skills
- Familiarity with transmission repair, equipment welding, and service technician duties
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
