Heather Glen Senior Living Community is seeking an LPN Floor Nurse on our evening shift. As a charge nurse, you will provide medications as needed, will oversee the Med Tech's & Personal Care Aides, follow up on health care matters, and provide personal assistance to the residents as needed.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provides individualized care to residents according to each resident's care plan.
- Evaluates resident's condition, gathers resident's data, and analyzes obtained information to assist in the development of the resident care plan.
- Maintains residents' electronic health records; documents observations as necessary per resident's health status and as mandated by federal and state requirements.
- Ability to ensure the community follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations as pertains to resident services and care
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments
- A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential
- The ability to work nights and weekends
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
