Charity Event Staff

We're seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our Charity Event team. You'll represent nationally recognized nonprofit organizations like The Nature Conservancy at community events. You will be responsible for engaging the public to educate them about our partner’s important causes and inspire ongoing financial support.
Not a desk job. Not a call center. Every day is spent out in the field, working alongside your team, having genuine conversations that lead to measurable impact for our partners’ causes, and personal development.
This is a face-to-face fundraising and outreach position designed for people who enjoy communication, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment. No prior fundraising experience is required, as our training program is designed to help you refine transferable skills from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Represent charity partners at community events across popular locations in New York City
- Speak with members of the public about each organization's mission and programs
- Educate potential supporters and answer questions about the campaigns
- Invite qualified individuals to become recurring monthly donors
- Help set up and maintain an engaging event space
- Track campaign results and meet individual and team performance goals
- Collaborate with teammates to create a positive, energetic atmosphere, and learn how to teach skills

Other Important Information
This is an in-person position that requires standing for extended periods and interacting directly with members of the public at events and promotional locations. The primary responsibility of this role is face-to-face fundraising through donor acquisition for charities represented by our company. Candidates responding to this listing, if selected, will be employed by Weather NY, an authorized event sales agency and fundraising partner, and not directly by the nonprofit organizations represented.

Compensation Structure: Weekly Base Pay: $650–$1,200 | Additional Bonuses: Based on Individual Sales Performance | Full-Time Employee Position | W2

Pay: $51,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
