General Manager – New Restaurant & Bar Concept Coming to the Texas Gulf Coast | Up to $120K based on prior experience
We are specifically seeking a tenured General Manager with a demonstrated track record of longevity and commitment. Stability and loyalty are non-negotiable for this role — if you have held more than two positions in the last five years and do not have General Manager Experience in a high volume casual restaurant environment, please do not apply as your resume will not be considered.
A new multi-level restaurant and bar concept is coming to a premier coastal destination near Lake Jackson— We're looking for an experienced General Manager who wants to get in on the ground floor of something special and help shape it from here.
Our concept spans indoor and outdoor dining with a full bar and live music — built for high-volume weekends and a growing year-round local following. We've got the location, the concept, and the demand. Now we need the right leader to bring it all together.
What You'll Do:
- Take full ownership of day-to-day restaurant and bar operations across multiple service areas
- Build and lead a team from the ground up — hiring, training, and developing a staff that can execute at a high level
- Establish the systems, structure, and standards that will define this concept for years to come
- Manage labor, COGS, scheduling, and overall financial performance
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Work directly with ownership as a true partner in the business — your input will shape how this place grows
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar
- New restaurant opening experience strongly preferred
- Someone energized by building structure in a brand-new operation, not just maintaining one
- Self-sufficient leadership style — comfortable working with remote ownership and making decisions on the ground
- Full-service bar operations experience required
- Willing to relocate to the Texas Gulf Coast near Lake Jackson
Compensation: Up to $120,000, based on experience.
