We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in the restoration industry. This role involves responding to various restoration projects, including fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. The Restoration Technician will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and rebuilding affected areas to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess damage and determine the appropriate restoration methods for fire, water, and mold-related incidents.
- Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to perform restoration tasks.
- Clean and restore affected areas, including carpet cleaning and structural repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all restoration activities.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.
- Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates on project status.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus.
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and restore various surfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
