Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Part-Time Distribution Manager to oversee the delivery and circulation of our magazines. This role is essential to ensuring our publications reach the right places on time, every time.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute distribution routes for timely and accurate magazine delivery.
- Coordinate with internal staff to confirm delivery schedules and quantities.
- Communicate proactively with team members, vendors, and distribution locations.
- Track deliveries and maintain accurate records of routes and drop-offs.
- Monitor inventory and report any shortages or delays.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to management.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with distribution partners.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be overly communicative to avoid missed details.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry bundles of magazines (up to 40 lbs).
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or delivery preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, flexible hours aligned with magazine release schedules.
- $17/hour + $0.50/mile
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
