Position Overview:
The CNC Operator – Turning Department is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and supporting CNC turning equipment used to manufacture precision components.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with CNC turning centers, screw machines, Swiss-style machines, or multi-axis turning equipment.
· Experience producing tight-tolerance precision-machined components.
· Aerospace, defense, medical, or similar precision manufacturing experience.
· Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
· CNC program verification experience.
· Familiarity with machine setup documentation.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
· Advanced troubleshooting and process-improvement experience for higher-level operator positions.
