We run a high-volume e-commerce and distribution operation spanning the US and Europe. Who we are looking for
Dave & Adam’s is looking for a Software Engineer to work on a cross-functional team on operational tools, front-end, infrastructure, or scripting. You will work with the Engineering team to plan, build and ship new features for multiple platforms and products. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants real ownership over systems that thousands of customers and collectors touch every day.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain code for our web-based applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with software and production engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance for your products.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute high-quality documentation and build robust test suites for your products.
- Contribute to our ongoing migration of legacy systems onto modern infrastructure.
- Collaborate with our infrastructure, data, e-commerce, and fraud teams to ship reliable, well-tested code.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in PHP, Python, Javascript, Vue, Nuxt, Tailwind, Postgres, and MongoDb.
- Strong project management skills and experience using Jira.
- Extra points for knowledge of C# and .NET, as well as experience with Microsoft Visual FoxPro.
- You have experience in a highly iterative environment.
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience managing projects and working with both internal and external stakeholders is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment processing, or high-volume transactional systems.
- Familiarity with modern deployment and infrastructure tooling (cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization).
- Exposure to legacy-system modernization or data-migration projects.
- Interest in the trading card, sports, or collectibles space.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
