American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist for a multi-month contract in the Stockton, CA area, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and a valid state PT license.

Home health setting serving geriatric patients in the Stockton area, with potential coverage of surrounding counties

Case types include general home health and wound care with a geriatric patient population

Target caseload of approximately 23–24 patient visits per week

Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8)

No weekends or required on-call; on-call is discretionary only

Charting is completed in the clinic on a facility-provided tablet using Kinnser/WellSky — charting cannot be taken home

Contract length is 4–6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to complete a 6-month contract (non-negotiable)

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first to last patient visit (not to/from home)

Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall PT clinical experience required

Valid state PT license required at time of consideration — pending licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

No active hits on license

COVID vaccination required; religious declinations accepted

Flu vaccination declination accepted with signed declination

Local candidates accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility qualify under the local rate

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application — no additional RTO requests will be accepted after an offer is made

Compliance onboarding may take 2–3 weeks; all required documents must be completed before the clinician can begin seeing patients

Any color scrubs with closed-toe shoes required
