Materials Specialist
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on team member to manage materials and inventory, cut materials for production, receive incoming shipments, and provide backup support for shipping operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, stays organized, and takes pride in supporting a smooth manufacturing process.
- Cut plastic, film, and other materials to production specifications.
- Operate cutting equipment safely and accurately.
- Read work orders and verify material sizes and quantities.
- Stage materials for production and report shortages or issues.
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Monitor material levels and keep storage areas organized.
- Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Communicate receiving discrepancies, damage, or shortages.
- Provide backup support for shipping, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing shipments.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
- Organized and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to accurately measure materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Hours for this Materials Specialist position are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. We look forward to hearing from you!
