We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Office Coordinator who thrives in a great environment and brings strong experience in construction office operations, blueprint reading, and interior design support. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily construction office operations, project documentation, permitting support, and administrative coordination.
- Read, interpret, and work confidently with blueprints, construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Assist with interior design selections, finish schedules, material coordination, and client presentations using your design experience.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for project tracking, budgets, change orders, and reporting.
- Utilize construction management software and other tools to improve efficiency and organization.
- Support subcontractor communications, scheduling assistance, and overall project workflow.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems while providing top-notch support to the owner and field teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Construction office experience: Minimum 2 years working in a construction, contracting, or home building office environment.
- Blueprint reading experience: Proven ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Interior design experience: Hands-on experience with interior selections, finishes, or client design coordination.
- Excel experience: Advanced in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, charts).
- Software experience: Familiarity with construction/project management software (Buildertrend, JobNimbus, Konstructiq, or other similar) and general office tools.
- Attitude: Energetic, self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with a positive "can-do" mindset and strong work ethic.
- Excellence In: Detailed oriented (details,details,details) communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of Florida permitting processes and local construction practices is a strong plus.
