Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering a welcoming and vibrant community environment. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, customer service proficiency, and knowledge of property management regulations to ensure the community is well-maintained and residents are satisfied. Bilingual a plus!
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring high standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents through effective communication and customer relationship management.
- Oversee leasing activities, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and managing lease agreements in compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and management systems such as OneSite.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues related to property upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with legal administrative requirements, including LIHTC regulations where applicable.
- Organize community events to enhance resident engagement and promote a sense of community.
- Handle resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC compliance is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data entry and real estate administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with property management software is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and legal administrative practices related to property management is beneficial.
