Advance is seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. This role involves performing various tasks on construction sites, including assisting with installations, building structures, and operating heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of glass, drywall, and other materials as required.
- Support construction activities including building roofs, plumbing, plastering, and stucco work.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Participate in construction estimating processes when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on site.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with glass installation, drywall work, roofing, plumbing, plastering, stucco application, or heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
