Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement.
- Assist with patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
