Program Schedule
Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–5:30 PM
Program schedules may vary by school. Coaches indicate their availability and accept coaching assignments that fit their schedule and program needs.
Programs operate according to individual school calendars and terms, with opportunities beginning in September 2026.
Make a Difference Through Youth Development
First Touch Coaching partners with AYSO PLAY! to deliver high-quality after-school soccer and youth development programs for children and young people.
We are seeking energetic, dependable and positive Youth Development Coaches who enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping students build confidence, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong love of physical activity.
You do not need to be an experienced soccer coach. We are looking for individuals who understand children and can create a fun, safe and supportive environment where students can learn and grow.
Experience or background working with children in educational settings, including elementary education, teaching, childcare, youth programs, camps, recreation, mentoring or coaching, is highly valued.
What You'll Do
- Deliver fun, engaging soccer and youth development sessions.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive environment for students ages 6–14.
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship and positive social development.
- Use games, movement and age-appropriate activities to keep students engaged.
- Build positive working relationships with school staff and program partners.
- Maintain professional communication and fulfil accepted coaching assignments reliably.
Experience in recreational soccer coaching is helpful but not required.

Required Onboarding
- Background screening

All required costs are paid for by AYSO where applicable.
Coaches must be able to complete any applicable school or program partner requirements before coaching begins.
