Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot equipment failures, perform repairs, and optimize system performance.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and repair mechanical components.
- Diagnose complex problems involving plumbing, ammonia refrigeration systems, or HVAC/R equipment with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or general building operations as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician within the construction or property maintenance sectors.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and the installation of complex systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and performing equipment repairs involving welding or mechanical adjustments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of field service procedures for air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment. Pay: $20.00 - $30.43 per hour
