Overview
We are seeking experienced Computer Hardware Deployment Technicians to support a workstation deployment project in the Charlotte, NC area. Candidates will assist with the setup, installation, testing, and organization of IT equipment within a professional corporate office environment.
Responsibilities
- Unbox and stage deployment equipment
- Assemble and install workstation equipment including monitors, webcams, keyboards, mice, and wireless headsets
- Connect and validate workstation components
- Perform cable management and workspace organization
- Follow deployment floor plans and setup instructions
- Retrieve equipment from onsite storage or loading dock
- Conduct basic validation testing:
- Power-on testing
- Peripheral connectivity
- Device recognition
- Identify and report defective or missing equipment
- Escalate issues to the Project Lead as needed
Requirements
- Experience with desktop hardware setup and deployment
- Experience troubleshooting peripherals and workstation equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite in an active corporate environment
- Professional communication and reliability required
