BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Under general supervision, with considerable responsibility, and according to established guidelines and lesson plans, the Site Supervisor oversees a fee-based program for an assigned group of children and assists the front office with campus duties on assigned days.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED (at least 18 years of age)

CDA or ability to start CDA coursework within 6 months and complete CDA within 1 year

Must be able to nurture children, plan and implement age-appropriate activities for them

Must be able to learn, follow, and alter (if appropriate) recurrent work routines and schedules

Major Responsibilities:

Assist with supervision of children and staff during all activities.

Counsel children when social, academic or adjustment problems arise.

Communicate with school staff on ways to successfully provide accommodations to students with special needs.

Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids/materials for activities and maintain evidence including lesson plans, program organizational forms, and staff schedules.

Ensure that appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the site is appropriately maintained.
-
Maintain all site paperwork to include notes, accident reports and daily input of attendance and payment data into RevTrak.

Ensure that all RevTrak contracts are complete and tagged properly; assist parents in completing contracts as needed.

Check CCS portal for new students, updates in tuition assistance agreements and changes in parent fees.

Ensure tuition payments are monthly and set up payment plans with parents as needed.

Maintain accurate accounting and return of unused snacks.
-
Assist children with meal/snack time and clean-up.
-
Attend and participate in staff meetings, site events and parent meetings as requested.

Prepare and implement weekly lesson plans/programs, organization and schedule.
-
Ensure the program operates within the approved budget.
-
Ensure that all indoor and outdoor equipment is in good working condition and is used/maintained properly per State Minimum Standards and TRS requirements.

Physically arrange the site prior to student arrival to include a parent table.

Clean up site when children depart.

Communicate appropriate information to parent and handle all concerns brought to their attention to either the campus, administrator or parents.

Schedule field trips or speakers pertaining to monthly programs.
-
Maintain site postings required by BISD, licensing and TRS.

Monitor required State and TRS training hours for all staff.

Ensure monthly and quarterly drills are completed according to licensing requirements
-
Maintain all TRS requirements for the site.

Assist Program Manager with interviewing, hiring, and training of new site personnel.

Assist with planning and implementing events.
-
Meet with and communicate appropriately with prospective families.
-
Supervise site tours as needed.
-
Arrange student groups in accordance with licensing regulations.
-
Inform Program Manager of any employee conduct requiring disciplinary action.
-

Maintain confidentiality.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Oversee work of Site Assistants in a manner that fosters a positive work environment which encourages collaboration and mutual respect.
