StrongURcare is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Selinsgrove—and we’re hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to help build something truly different.

LPN Responsibilities – Urgent Care Setting
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and focused assessments
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Start, monitor, and discontinue IV therapy (IV-certified preferred)
- Perform EKGs, wound care, splinting, specimen collection
- Prepare patients for radiology and diagnostic testing
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Provide discharge instructions and patient education
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment
LPN Responsibilities – Outpatient Clinic & Infusion Setting
- Assist with rheumatology visits and outpatient clinic care
- Prepare and monitor patients receiving infusions or injections
- Observe patients for adverse reactions and report concerns promptly
- Administer medications per provider orders and protocols
- Educate patients on medications, procedures, and care plans
- Coordinate follow-ups, referrals, and continuity of care
- Maintain clinical supplies and treatment area readiness
Requirements
- ✔ Active Pennsylvania LPN license
- ✔ BLS certification (required)
- ✔ Experience in an outpatient clinic setting
- ✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
- ✔ Ability to thrive in a team-based, patient-focused environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- ⭐ IV certification
- ⭐ Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department
- ⭐ Exposure to infusion services or specialty clinics
- ⭐ Familiarity with EHR systems
