Job SummaryPosition responsible for providing department leadership oversight and guidance to the garages and all areas of operations in order to ensure safe and functional streets, sidewalks, alleys, bridges, and safe thoroughfares while coordinating with and supporting the other functional responsibilities of the Department. This position will provide second level management support to the Administrators of the various operation divisions which are effectively run 24/7. Established policies and procedures control actions. Independent judgment is utilized when there are no available policies and procedures and errors in judgment may cause inconsistencies and inconveniences as well as regulatory and budgetary problems. Position reports to Various Operations Administrators.

Work is combined in the office and field environment. The majority of time is spent divided between both indoors and outdoors or in an automobile.
