Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable Sanitation Associates to help maintain a clean and sanitary production environment within the facility. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, processing areas, tools, and preparation tables.
Schedule:
This is a 6 day per week position
- Sunday – Friday: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Saturday: Off
Work Environment:
- Cold warehouse/production environment (30°F – 40°F)
- Dress appropriately for cold temperatures
- Steel-toe boots are required
Equipment Used:
- Mops and brooms
- Sponges and cleaning cloths
- General sanitation and cleaning tools
Job Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in sanitation, warehouse, production, or similar environments
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move equipment or materials as needed
Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize production rooms and processing areas
- Sanitize production tables, dicer machines, metal detectors, and shelving
- Clean and sanitize small production tools and equipment, including knives and handheld tools
- Ensure equipment and work surfaces meet company sanitation standards
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of production utensils
- Maintain organized and clean production areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Assist with general upkeep and organization of work areas
- Identify and report sanitation or safety concerns to supervisors
- Complete additional sanitation tasks as assigned by supervisors
Pay: $16.00 per hour
