Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as TOAST
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems TOAST.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with beverage service including wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, spirits experience, and drink service is a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions.
