Overview
Join our vibrant Christian church community as a Child Caregiver dedicated to nurturing and guiding young children in a safe, loving, and faith-centered environment. In this role, you will provide attentive care to children of various ages, fostering their spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and developmental milestones. Your enthusiasm and compassionate approach will help create a welcoming space where children feel valued, secure, and inspired to learn about their faith.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during church services, Life Groups, and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports effective classroom management and caregiving routines
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns involving children
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers in your care
- Uphold the church’s policies on childcare safety standards, including certifications in first aid and CPR preferable
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or as a nanny or babysitter is preferred
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in caregiving environments
