CHIEF PROGRAMS AND NETWORK OFFICER
Job Summary:
This is an extraordinary time to take the helm of the department of Programs and Network Relations at Island Harvest Food Bank. The new Chief Programs and Network Officer will have the responsibility of building a partnership with the President and CEO, while supervising the team responsible for executing the programs and services that enable the community and our member agencies network to have increased opportunities for healthy food, support and services that align with the organizations’ mission of “ending hunger and reducing food waste on Long Island”.
The incumbent will be a member of the executive leadership team and will aid in the creation, articulation, and implementation of departmental and organizational goals and objectives. As a senior level professional, the Chief Programs and Network Officer will actively participate in managing and carrying out the objectives of the organizations’ strategic plan and work closely with the President and the Board of Directors.

Demonstrated success in managing a team of professionals is important. Knowledge of outreach services and network relations is important, as is advanced computer skills
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
This position requires availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with occasional afternoon and weekend hours as needed. The role is primarily performed in a general office environment and involves extended periods of sitting and frequent computer use. Occasional travel throughout the region may be required. No relocation package offered.
Salary Range: $135,000-$145,000/year

Pay: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
