The Cicero Town Board is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Board (Ad-Hoc) to complete a term that started 1/1/2026 and ends 12/31/2027. Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Cicero. Must complete a minimum of four hours of annual training the Town provides.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical expertise in engineering, real estate sales, architecture, traffic evaluation, wetland delineation, hydrology, or the law;
· A deep understanding of the Town of Cicero Comprehensive Plan and a desire to help implement the plan;
· Experience in the area of land use planning;
· Experience serving on public board(s);
· Community involvement (as demonstrated by community organizations of which the applicant is a member);
· Five years living in the Town of Cicero;
· Demonstrated experience in working cooperatively with others;
· Communication skills;
· Potential conflicts of interest;
· Demonstration of ability to meet time commitments of a Planning Board member, including meetings the first and third Wednesday monthly at 6:00pm.
