Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Pay:
- $46 per hour
- $69 per hour overtime
- Travel pay packages also available
- Weekly direct deposit
- W2 position with benefits available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Schedule and Timeline:
- Now interviewing for asap start dates!
- 40 hours weekly with the potential for OT
- 8 and 16-hour day and night shifts available to choose from
- 13-week assignment with high potential to extend
Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Job Details:
- Provide healthcare services to inmates.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
- Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- BLS certification
- PA or Compact RN License
- 1+ years of Corrections, Psych, or Behavioral health nursing experience
