- Compensation: $37–$40 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Role Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist in our Post‑Acute / Sub‑Acute Division, you will provide on‑site respiratory assessments, monitoring, and early clinical intervention for patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role is designed for RTs who are confident working independently, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and helping reduce avoidable hospital readmissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and reassessments for sub‑acute and long‑term care patients
- Identify early changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
- Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to support continuity of care
- Document assessments clearly and accurately within facility systems
- Support readmission‑prevention initiatives and promote patient stability
Requirements
- Active CRT or RRT credential
- IL state RT license in good standing
- Strong assessment and clinical decision‑making skills
- Ability to start promptly
- Experience in sub‑acute, post‑acute, or SNF settings preferred but not required
