We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers , including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized freight vehicles.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
- Drive assigned routes confidently while maintaining compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for operation.
- Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely pickups and drop-offs across diverse locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and vehicle maintenance records to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates.
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery, route driving, and load & unload procedures.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to handle various equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving environments.
