About the Position
We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent service, and working in a busy event and hospitality environment.
This position is a great fit for someone who is friendly, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to provide fast and professional service during busy shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take drink orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Check identification and follow all applicable alcohol service laws and regulations
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve responsibly
- Restock bar supplies, glassware, ice, and other necessary items
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, management, and event staff
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each shift
- Help create a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for guests
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Must be at least the legal drinking age required by applicable law
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/reasonably move bar supplies
- Must be comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
